  • With over 30 years of experience in family building, firm founder, Ellen Essig, has developed a niche practice in collaborative reproduction and fertility law. She represents clients worldwide with their surrogacy and other family-building needs, including those relying on egg, sperm, and embryo donation to achieve their goals. Ellen was proud to serve as co-counsel in the marriage equality case Obergefell v. Hodges, et al, which was successfully argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in April 2015. Over the years, Ellen has helped thousands of hopeful parents bring children into their homes.
  • Rachel Loftspring focuses her attention exclusively on Fertility Law, counseling clients of all sexual orientations from the United States and throughout the world on their collaborative reproduction journey. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Rachel is licensed to practice in Ohio and Illinois.
